Golden
We did a few activities around Golden: a couple of local hikes, visited the nearby wolf centre, and saw a black bear just on the side of the road near Kicking Horse Mountain.
Icefields Parkway
We drove this spectacular highway between Banff and Jasper in the first week of June. It was unbelievable how many beautiful lakes, waterfalls, and even wildlife were right along the road! The time of year was also perfect – still plenty of pretty snow, but not too cold and clear roads to drive on.
